Rozalina Busel in PerspAKTIV

Meet Rozalina Busel, the new PerspAKTIV resident at Bydgoskie Centrum Sztuki. Currently residing in Warsaw, Poland, Rozalina is a visual artist specializing in ceramics. Her work explores themes of migration, social inequality, and emotional experiences, integrating sound, video, photography, texts, and ready-made objects. Central to her art is the connection between physical and symbolic borders.

Rozalina draws insightful parallels between funeral rituals and relocation, capturing the essence of beginnings and endings. She holds degrees from the Belarus State Academy of Arts and has also studied at the University of Art in Linz, Austria. Since 2019, she has been a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) in Geneva, Switzerland.
